Book Review: "The 13-Story Treehouse"

The 13-Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths; Illustrated by Terry Denton.

The 13-Story Treehouse is a good book.  I like the drawings. The best part is... everything!  It's a "day in the life" book. It stars Andy and Terry in an attempt to write a book!  The life in a tree house.  Cool it is! It has a banana enlarger, a games room, a giant catapult, a man-eating shark tank and so much more!  The author and illustrator have named the characters after themselves.  

Fall 2014 Mushrooms

I took these pictures for a reason. The fact is, unlike wildflowers, mushrooms only have a very limited window. Most of a mushroom’s bulk is underground. I like to take mushroom pictures because mushrooms are awesome! These pictures were taken on a number of different days. All were taken in fall this year.
